will dogface puffer eat my shrimp or corals?

I have had a dogface puffer for a couple of months now and he has not bothered my crabs or snails so far.
I want to add some cleaner shrimps and corals soon. would he likely eat them?

Yes, they would end-up dinner for him but I am sure he would like you for giving him a snack.

my 9" golden did not mess with any of my crabs or snails, I tried a urchin and he ended up as lunch one day!
It's going to be trial and error but will most likely go after the hard corals, mine used to drag the decorative dried coral i had in tthe tank around and would even try to take chunks of LR out of some of the shelf style rock i had.
If you really want to do reef i would stay away from a puffer, thats why i sold mine.

Yes he will.... I have a dogface and he eats all inverts, except my urchin, and for some reason the remaining fire shrimp (they're buddies, but I think he is just leading it on....he ate the other one right away) I buy snails on ---- for the tank so he always has something to munch on,so far he hasn't bothered the corals. He is only in the reef tank, cause I had a crash in the tank he was in. On the other hand he had a Choc Chip Star in his tank and never touched it. So he may not, but I would plan on on him eating anything you put in there.

pretty much anything except corals and anemones have a decent chance of getting eatten.
