will hammer grow back??

I posted a thread on the loss of part of my hammer coral by my crab. The rest seems really healthy and is fully out since i got rid of the crab. I was just wondering if the hammers will regrow to fill the void in the coral that is now there. If so how long does it take and is there anything i can do to help??

It will grow back. I am not sure how long it will take, that depends on your water quality.

is it a branching hammer or scrolling. in my experence if it is a scrollin it will grow back if its branching. it will most likly just grow a new head
