will hermit crabs each my choc starfish

I wanted to put some hermit crabs in my tank, and I have a choc star fish, will it get killed?
and also, can starfish and other inverts get ich, since i did have it in my tank earlier..thanks

No the hermis won't bother the starfish. I have three choc, chip stars with 10 hermits and they don't bother each other. Only if the star gets injured then the hermits may try to eat it because my star hurt its leg somehow and the hermits where trying to eat it. And no inverts can't carry ich from fish.
