Will I always be a Peppermint Shrimp?

I'm just wondering how many post does one submit before they can have the "call sign" changed? Is there a chart or rule guide I can check out? or Will I be a Peppermint Shrimp forever...?

Thanks Sammy...I'll have to go into my profile and check it out. For some reason I thought you guys (moderators') changed them after reading user posts or not changing them when it's obvious one should remain a shrimp... based on the threads posted.
On another note since I know your reading this and you have given me some good info in the past...is there a fish that can live in my QT tank? After loosing by Blue Spotted Jaw Fish I finally set my Qt tank up three weeks ago and it is mid way through its cycle. I will now slowly be quarantining my new fish...but when I'm done making additions I will keep my Qt tank up as a hospital ect...what do you think...or do I buy plastic decals for the front of it and admire them and smile?

I just add flake food every few days to keep my QT running and cycled. In turn its my HT, when needed. Ya its a boring tank, but after I know I have my last addition, and QT'd, hopefully I will not ever need a HT again and that can become a nano. HTH

ya i think ur rite slimm, only those with over 1000 posts can name themselves. also i thought after u reached a certain amount of posts, ur title was changed, i didnt know the moderators changed it when they thought u knew enough. hmmm u lern sumthin new everyday them huh?

Does it really matter what your title is? Good advice is good advice be it from a shrimp, titan trigger, mandarin, or whatever. Don't lose sleep over it. Bo

No one changes your title based on your answers. Either you change it yourself or it changes every so many posts. Like grouper said though don't pay attention. We have many people who give great advise, have been in the hobby a long time and just joined the board with only 3 or 4 posts.
On the q tank. I don't have a refugium so I turned my 20 gal q into a stand alone refugium with dsb, caulerpa and one piece of live rock. Helps my main tank and something to look at too.

I think the post-level ranks are really cute I jokingly said to my boyfriend when joining this board "I am but a lowly peppermint shrimp!"...! It's more FUN than ranking people A, B, C, etc. My pick for coolest "name yourself ranking" is the guy (can't remember his name) who has "Scottish Drunk" under his name! Some of you guys are really funny!
