could i keep a clam under 1 175 watt mh lighting in a 29 gallon tank? i really want a clam because they are gorgeous but im not sure if it will thrive under that type of lighting?

A general rule is calcium levels of at least 280 mg/L, preferably 400-480 mg/L to grow. Proper levels of strontium and iodine (which in all reality you will not be able to test) so got with the manufacturers of the supplement you use recommends. And feed phytoplankton
