YES they will . Porcupine puffers grow extremely large . They can and will get bigger than footballs if taken care of properly.

Honestly . I was going to try and explain it , But I can't I am just board of the same old thing in every thread . This book says this or the online fish supply says that its ok , And now the popular I am friends with .................. and they said I can do it . I honestly dont understand how the people that care and come on here day after day to help others out can keep doing it . We are trying to help those new to the hobby out , But it just gets met with hostility and combativeness . We try to tell you that your tank is too small not out of jeliousy or arogance , But simply so you can make the right choices for your tank and in the long run enjoy it better . Everybody has deliousions of having a tank packed full of flesh hungry fish ready to devour anything dropped in the water . Yet they think the 10 triggers in their 125 will get along with the 5 eels , 6 puffers ,3 lions and a dozzen mantis shrimp . You can listen to advice of people that have been doing this a while or you can do what you want . The choice is yours , A rewarding hobby and money in your pocket or frustration dead/sick fish and no cash in your wallet .

i believe that puffers can be mixed pretty easily. just add them at the same time. if you are dead set on keeping a porc, you probably shouldn't keep more than one.

the sad thing about books and sites that sell fish is that they are trying to make a profit, they will pretty much tell you anything to make the dollar, dont always believe what you read, make sure you do alot of research before you decide on getting anything, i know i deffinitly have to work on this, im really bad about impulse buying but am getting better

The ray nor that many puffers can fit in a 125g. And if they were together in a larger tank, no the puffers won't eat the ray but will pick on it which can lead to scars, stress, probably death.
