Will my new hermit crab be okay???

we got our new hermit crab, named "fuzzy polka dots" 2 days ago. I acclimated him for between 1 & 1.5 hrs, I wouldve done it a little longer but I was ready for bed). Today I came home and it looks like he molted his leggs... Is it a bad thing or a sign of stress if he molts this soon? He is moderately active, but with such a heavy shell I dont blame him for not being a lil nascar racer.
It just seems wierd to me that he would molt after having him only 2 days. If I need to return him for whatever reasons, weather it be my tank or an unhealthy hermit, I will... I just want to make sure first

Sometime stress will cause hermit crabs or shrimp to molt. I would not worry about it too much, he should be fine as long as your parameters are good in your tank.
