Will my zoo spread?

I bought a zoo at my lfs and the rock it came on is a cylinder and i was wondering if it will still spread to my other rocks because it looks like if the new stalks attach to my rock they wont get any light because theyll be under the older ones, see crappy painting lol

They will spread to anything it can touch. They should start to grow off the "cylinder" and then onto the other rocks.

ok i just didnt know if they would because they will have no light at first

I've got polyps coming out of my rock crevices where there is little light you will be surprised how they multiply.

are ur zoos looking like they are extending out as long as they can? if so then move them farther up to the light

there as close to the light as they can get the only ones that are streching are the ones at the bottom stretching to get around the rest
