We're going to have to unplug the filters for the 55gl tank. Will things be ok for a few hours? If they are turned off in the morning, then turned back on at lunch time? (if it matters the lights won't be on).
What I have in my tank is listed below. Also, if I cover the tank (to keep the chemicals that will be in the air out) will the temp raise is a few hours? and if it does is there anyway of knowing if it will hurt the clown?
I do not want to lose the clown, I don't care about the rest but of course i don't want to lose anything.
The tank has been up for over a year, If you need anymore info let me know and I'll give it to you.
Thanks!!

should be... I've left mine off for a few ours before for various reasons. I'd get them back on as soon as you can though.

You can also look into battery powered air pumps. They are pretty cheap and run on "D" batteries.

you will be fine just thing of how long the fish are in bags when they get collected and shippe to whole salers. Also look how long tanks are down during power outages and when people move there tanks. I do not know what type of work you are doing but covering your tank might be a good idea if there is going to be all types of dust in the air.

Thanks guys. I was just worried. I'd hate to lose the fish (or creatures). The power was off before during the night (b/w 2-10ish) and we lost all but one peppermint shrimp. Most likly we'll be able to have an air stone, but I'm not sure.
Thanks again,
