im not familiar with that system but it sounds like it should be enough... what are you planning to keep? i would recommend supplementing the MH lighting with some T5 tubes to provide the actinic spectrum.

any bulb over 5500k will supply the blue spectrum that corals need and the system your looking at has 15000k bulbs so you will have the best of both good par and blue spectrum also having halide it won't limit you to anything, the only time you would need any supplemental actinic lighting is for 5500k thru 10000k bulbs as they are a little more on the yellow look and the actinic bulbs will help balance the overall look of the tank. but as I said with the 15000k bulbs you will be fine. as for the size of the fixture get the 36 inch unit , the 24 inch will leave shadows and not cover the tank very well with the proper light, also you may want to consider the T5 or new T6 systems, they are real nice , cheaper then halides and not near the heat output, also halide bulbs need to be replaced every 6 to 8 months and T5&T6 need to be replaced evey 12 to 16 months, cheaper to replace also, hope this helps

I believe its the other way around with the bulbs a year with mh and 6-8 with flourescent and watt for watt the heat is the same just the t5 spreads it out more I believe you will need the 36" to make the legs work unless your brace is only 24 I have these lights on my 55 and am puting them on my 125 the bulbs they come with are kinda yellow any DE bulb will fit

grab a halide bulb after it's been on, you will have no skin left on your hand the fluorescent are warm to the touch but do not create the severe heat that halides do, and the replacement time is as I said 6 to 8 months for HALIDES and 12 to 16 for T5,
