Hey guys,
I just got my first sw (55g) setup and everything seems to be going good. right now I have 24lbs of lr and 3 damsels. Once it is cycled and everything is good to go I would like to get a flame angel and maybe a coral beauty. I have heard that the flame angel can be aggresive to other angels the same size. I would really like to have both of them but if they won't get along then I would just get one of them.

2 dwarf anfels in a 55 will not work. In fact 2 dwarf angels in even larger tanks less than 250g's usually don't work.
Also dwarf angels need mature tanks that have been up and running with no problems for at least 5-6 months. Would suggest bringing up L/R's to at least 45 lbs. and waiting 5-6 months before adding a dwarf. CB is more hardy then FA usually because the collecting practices for the high demand FA are questionable.

Hey Ross, I am not an expert, but I have seen a few charts that show compatability w/ other species. Do a search on the web and I bet you can find one. Hope that helps a bit. FYI...I would trust the folks here over the charts, but they could be a good tool.

Take my advice from experience that it does not work! Only if you enjoy spending a lot of money to watch fish kill each other!
