I finally decided on what type of tank I want. I considered everything form space/location... etc.
I will be getting a 48x24x24 120 Gallon Tank. I will be setting it up as an aggressive tank w/ live Rock. Now for the fish part, I think I will be getting a Voiltan Red Lion, Clown Trigger, Niger Trigger, Snowflake EEl,Powder blue tang, and maybe a long spin puffer. The filtration will be done by 2 fluval 404 a Remora Pro skimmer (rated for 150G) and lots of powerheads to move the water at least 10 times per hour, and maybe a UV sterlizers. For ligts I will be getting the custom life Fixture which is like 120 watts I think. should be enough for the LR? The tank will also have 1"- 2"inches of Oceanic Nutrition LS and about 50-80 pounds of Fiji LR. BTW, I am a beginner and if I am putting too much fish in please let me know before you flame me. I need to get my flame suit on first ;) Also what is a good rule to use to stock saltwater fish? I read 1" of fish per 2 gallons on some other website, what do you guys think? Thanks
Jim

the general rule is 5g for every 1" of fish. specially aggressive. they need alot of space to live. try to get them small so the fish can grow into the tank.. you might want to reconsider the tang because they are prone to ich.

A Harlequin Tuskfish would be pretty cool - grows to about 10" and is supposedly well suited with tankmates like triggers.
HTH.

Kronin,
That is cool. I don't know how I missed that one. It goes much nicer with the triggers than the tang will. Since nobody commented on my setup I am assuming that my setup is good. I can't wait to get all together.

Just to add to jwtrojan44's advice - I would refrain from keeping a Lionfish and a puffer together aswell, its quite common for them to show aggression towards eachother at feeding time, and the puffer always comes off worse. ie. It gets killed.
I'd have to agree with jwtrojan44 - A Lion, Eel, Niger and the Tusk.

Well Im ot sure about that, as a general rule maybe - but I think the majority of people who keep the larger puffers like dogfaces, keep them with triggers.
I personally keep a dog with a Niger and a bluejaw trigger, they get on fine - got to keep an eye on them though :D

Thank you all for your replies. I guess I might have to do without the puffer as it is not on my "must have" list. I am trying to do this tank with min. or no problems. so if you guys see that I am doing anything wrong your advice is welcome. Thanks
