Could I have a Volitan, Porcupine, and some sort of Angel in a 150gal tank. I know they will be for quiet some time, but will this be OK for them even when they egt full grown?

the porcupine isnt the problem, its the angel. the angel might not get picked on by its tankmates, but with those messy eaters keeping wate quality good is very very hard.

You will need a great filter system, the angel needs outstanding water quality. The puffer and lion are messy eaters, if you do your water changes every two weeks, and keep your filter clean there should not be a problem with the water. Size wise that is not a problem. Good Luck

Great replies guys. I knew there was a reason they couldnt be together, but I just couldnt remember what. What would everyone else suggest adding instead of an angel. Ive had a small lion and puffer in the past, but got rid of them due to the fact that they were getting to big and I really miss having them. My puffer was like my dog.

I have also heard that Angels will peck at the eyes of other fish. Is that right?

youre looking for another fish in your 150, hmm, groupers (blue-line, miniatus, blue-spot), wrasses (puddingwife, lunare, sunset, h.tusk), eels (goldentail, snowflake, chainlink, zebra, black edge), hamlets (blue, indigo, butter), hogfish (spanish), are some fish you can think about. depending on what fish, you could posibly add two more to the tank. bo
