ive already bought my stand so i cant go wider so i want to go taller its a 6 foot by 2 foot stand what im wanting my tank to be is 359g and it would be 6 feet long 2 feet wide and 4 feet tall i just want to make sure this will not break from pressure or any other problem the standd is very well inforced and metal i could put a pick if anyone has concerns there and the glass would be an inch thick i think

So you are asking if the stand will hold? I dont know if anyone can answer that with out looking at the stand. I would be more concerned about if your floor can hold up the weight.

If it was me I would try to find out what the stand was designed for because i doubt that it was designed for a tank of that size, you are talking about a lot of weight, over 3,000 pounds and I would be very skeptical of it, a picture could help a lot because just thats its metal doesn't necessarily make it capable of that weight. It could hold at first but weaken quickly overtime
as contraband said, i'm planning a 280 gallon tank in my living room and plan on reinforcing my floor with basically solid beams underneath in order to live worry free and some sort of plate steel underneath so it doesn't indent into my laminate flooring

wouldnt worry much about the concrete you should be fine there, concrete cracks but if you want to prevent it just try to disperse the weight over a larger area

+1 Just remember pressure = force/area

depending on how old your house is im guessing your concrete is ~3,000-3,500psi so i wouldnt worry there

my biggest question to you is how do you think you are going to be able to do ANY maintenance to a 4 foot tall tank??? and truthfull height isnt as great a factr as width or depth...
AT MAX i would do 3 ft just for the simple fact that is going to be truelly diffecult enough cleaning and maintaining....
