iv got a 6' 130g tank, had it about a month.
i've got two mounds of rock in there, one of left, one on the right.
i dont have more rock because i dont want to interfar with my lions fin space.
i want to try a few corals in there so to support this will this be ok for lighting?
i want two metal halide pendants, one hanging over each mound, then say a couple t5's running down the whole tank for brightness.
so the corals will be under the 150w halide bulbs, and then maybe 2 white t5's and 2 blues at around 54w each?
that be ok?
tank is 24" deep, rocks come up to about halfway if that helps

Yes indeed. Sounds perfect. The 2 white T5's may be overkill on the white side of the eye appeal of the tank though. I don't think that 2 blues will be enough to "overcome" the whiteness of the tank. Especially if you are looking for some pop to the coral that come from the actinic (blue) bulbs. But give it a try you can always change them the first time you need to replace bulbs.

yeh i will, i've got some coral munching fish so im going to start with some zoas and a some mushrooms, see if they get left alone, then maybe a couple leathers and a frogspawn, thats it.
ok cool, well if i get the 2 MH's then get two actinics down the tank and maybe 1 white light. if its too bright then i'll change it to a freshwater tropical bulbs which will light the tank, but not be such a peircing white:)
