I am adding a smartligth retrofit kit to my existing smartlight PC hood. The existing hood has the on/off switch wire in after the ac plu and before the ballast. The retrofit kit instrustions have the switch wired between the ballast and the lamp. Anyone with any theories on how to best do this.

usually its wired after the balast but you can break the hot before the balast if thats the way it is now. you are just breaking the hot leg to the lamps
