Wiring the PC fans to 12V adaptors

Hello all, I just finished build my canopy with 250W MH hanging inside plus 2 powerbrite LEDs on the both sides of MH light. I put 4 PC fans (80mm) 2 on the top and 2 on each side. Now I have a question about wiring the fan to the AC adaptors. Since I have 4 fans and I don’t want to have 4 adaptors the will used up my outlet, can I put 2 fans in to one 12V? So I will use only 2 adaptors for all 4 fans. Any suggestion? Thanks!

the answer is yes but its conditional
The 12V PSU will be rated in milliamb Mha output, likewise the fans will have a Mha consumption factor.
Simple math if the fans are say 100 millie amps each then the powwers upply needs to be a 12V 400 millieamp PSU. you can use a larger PSU (in millieamp not voltage) but and under size one will have any number of electrical issues from not working at all, burning opur the PSU or fans or the fire.
2 Psu is a good plan for a # of reasons, mainly control and if one PSU goes out you still have some fans.
It is wort using slightly larger PSU if you find the need to add a fan or temporily power all your fans you have room to add

Sorry i forgot to add this, as I looked at one of my 12 PSu for something.
You may find the power rating in watts. That is say a 12V 100Watt transformer or 12V 25Watt fan
The same principal applies ( since amperage is mearly a rating of of resistance compared to wattage used at a given voltage)
SO 4 25 watt fans need a 100watt transformer

I put 2 80mm fans in my canopy. Went to radio shack and bought a 12v 1500MHA transformer and it worked just perfect. You should be able to run 3 but I not sure about 4

Another great place to find power supplies is Goodwill stores, if you have one near you.
They usually have a bin in their electronics area full of them, just look for a 12v adapter of suitable current. You can usually get them for $1 to $3, rather than the ridiculous prices Radio Shaft sells them for.
