I have one that is very aggressive everything I have read says they are good for aggressive tank but this guy was added two months after my blue tang and sailfin 2 1/2 weeks after my df puffer and he is the BOSS of the tank considering returning him to fish store. Has anyone else experienced this with a wolf eel? I am wanting a v lion and don't want the eel to stress him out. Considering ordering one from this site has anyone done that?

Wolf eels definitely can be aggressive. That does not surprise me.
It not surprises me as well for if your tangs are small and not large already such as way too large to eat, but the problem there with the wolf eels is that they have very powerful jaws and could crack the shells of crabs, for the larger wolf eel species feeds on hard shelled crabs.
The one good thing of the wolf eels is that they mate for most of their lives and both male and female care for their eggs as well both could and will remain together for their entire lives. Its like love till death due us part short of

Also I have to say that the wolf eels do better in their own tank, a species only tank and one really needs to make this tank as large they can for the more space they have, the better off they be.

It be a good thing it not grow as large for it would feed on your little wolf for like which of these species you have Platycephalus longiceps or Cymbacephalus beauforti for the Cymbacephalus grows some 20" and it would be the end of little wolf.
