That's just crazy. I can understand charging her with illegally accessing a computer but charging her for murdering his avatar? Thats silly!

I wonder if I could charge my old friend with murder and get him sent to jail for killing my Dungeons and dragons character when I was 10.....probably a statute of limitations though....

that's kind of funny. You can go kill your neighbor's dog that does exist and get less jail time than killing a human that doesn't exist.

Some people just need to get a life . While I think its petty to press charges I also think its petty to log in to a game and kill off your ex's character. I think they should both be forced into anger management therapy .

Didn't lots of people commit suicide over everquest or something regarding people robbing their characters while they were logged out and sleeping?

i saw a story like this where 2 boys forced another boy to give them something in an online game, and the 2 boys who were up to it were charged with theft. they were ages 13-15. i think it was in the netherlands.
