I was told that crab was an acro crab and would live in that coral forever...
murph---it is all your fault. I kept looking at your pics and decided to give the sps a go...
here is a description of the crab in question...it says not to remove it or it will die

IMO that is not an acro crab that u have living in ur acro. I have several acro crabs in a few of my colonies. They are all very smooth and very small. The one u have in urs looks to be almost hairy. I really dont think that is an acro crab from looking at that picture. Maybe someone else who cares for acros can chime in as well. but i really honestly dont think it is an acro crab so I would remove him. Good trigger food.

thanks saltnoob---yeah me and the wallet are on pretty good terms --we have an understanding...LOL
the lighting is an Odyssea 785 watt MH/PC fixture with 20k 175w MH and current smartpaq 50/50's

yeah in general hairy crabs are bad toss those guys if u see them in ur acros they will eat at the coral.... smooth ones are ok

hey murph...you know a whole lot more than about sps....i was wondering about the prices i paid...
1st pic $30 about 4"x2"
2nd pic $25 about 2"x2"
4th pic $30 about 3"x3"
5th pic $10 for the monti cap frag about 1.5x1"
is that about right???
