ive decided to go with 6- 4'vho bulbs for my tank the question i have is will i need 3 wh7 to run them? if so does ne one know of ne other ballats that will run these and are as cheap? ne help would b appreciated thanks

3 work horse sevens . . . yes, they run 220w each.
Another ballast as cheap as effective . . . . not that I am aware of.

I agree w/ 007 --- I use 2 workhorse 7's for 4 VHO's. Best bang for the buck in my opinion, mine have worked great!

$35 for the ballast..easy to wire... fire right up...they are the way to go.
