Hi all:
Everyone in my tanks are doing very well...even the flowerpot coral I have had for 8 months is full and happy!
The Tang finally stopped grazing on my yellow polops, and my Flame angel has finally learned he cannot catch the tiny worms in my christmas tree coral. LOL Both of these fish and my cleaner wrasse (who has doubled in size), have learned to graze on the Marine algae I clip to the glass every day.
My question is, I just noticed some wavy worm like things coming out of a piece of liverock. They are about the diameter of a thread, and are a translucent white color. They are segmented with the segments being about 1/16" long. The entire worm is between 1" and 1-1/2" long and is attached to the liverock by one end. The length of the worm thingy waves in the water as if water current is moving it, even when there is no current. The liverock has been in the tank for almost a year, and is totally purple. This is the first time I have seen these things...are they ok? or should I get someone that will eat them?
The adventure continues...
Rick
