Worm or Poop ID

I've got this insanely long white thing stuck to the glass on the back of my tank. It's somewhat compressed by bending, but if I were to take it and stretch it out, it'd be at least 4 feet long. It's about the width of a piece of a string and completely white. No visible eyes bristles or anything.
What is this? It hasn't moved. Could this be some form of detritus? I see some of these things occasionally on my rocks as well, but not quite as long.
Could this be poop from a feather duster? Wrasse cocoon remains? Some type of worm? Will try to get a pic if nobody can figure it out just from description

Uh Oh.......another poop thread.:jumping: Poop can be very difficult to identify, there are many types of poop. Big poop, little poop, long poop, short poop, stringy poop, curly poop, chunky poop....you get the idea. Without a poop picture, it is difficult to determine the poop, and poop producer........ :D
Sounds like snail eggs. They will go away in a few days....:D

Feather duster poop looks like short hair floating around in your tank. Well, at least the tiny little feather duster's poop.
Awe geez, I said it too...POOP
But it looks like belothesurf is right. From your description, it sounds like snail eggs.
