worm question....?

ok first of all i had no idea where to post this but i decided the agressive forum cause i like the responces i get here....but any ways back on topic
i was lookin in my tank doing the regular check over every thing and next to my orange linka star on a peice of fiji was this weird worm..ill try to describe in the best that i can...he/they were small and looked kinda like a mini centipeed (sp?) his lower region was red and his head was black and i have no idea what the hell it is...good? bad? any imput is fine :confused:

Sounds like a common bristle worm, no problems. Good part of the cleanup crew.

alright...just wanted to make sure it wasnt gonna do any harm...so far i have only seen like 4 of them but one is pretty big compared to the others about 1/2"..do u know of any other possibilities becides a bristle worm..?

very common and a good part of the diversity of a balanced system. In very few cases they have been reported to do damage but I encourage them in my system...great lil scavengers.:thinking:

alright thanks well its a FO tank so i dont think its gonna hurt much at the size they are now...just makin sure ya kno...
