Good Morning to all
I was at my LFS yesterday and they received a fresh shipment of corals. Their was one of the necest worm rock christmas tree corals I have ever seen. now im no big fan of this coral but this one was nice. So i am picking it up friday after work. I was reading on the web the need to be in a low light area. If some one could give me a tip or two please do so.
Also post your pictures of this coral.

I Have had my Christmas Tree Rock for about a year now. I absolutely love it. When got it it wasn't doing so great so I adopted it at a discount with love & care I was able to bring it back. The worms on the rock like shade & good flow & are filter feeders however the coral on the rock has to have high lighting & good flow. This is why some say the care level is difficult. my advice is to put it midway or bottom of tank with good lighting for the coral the worms can pull themselves in & get their shade at night. and don't be alarmed if it looks like the coral is "peeling" after you've had it mine did & it freaked me out I went straight to expert he said that it was "shedding it's skin" kind of that's how I could tell it was growing. My Christmas Rock is doing terrific it is usually a slow growing coral. mine has grown really great over the past year & so beautiful I'm glad I adopted it it came back to life more beautiful & colorful than I could have ever hoped for! :0) Good luck with your Christmas Tree Rock.
