what is this guy? about an inch long, I found this guy on my mag float.

Dorvilleidae. He's rasping at your algae. You'll see two little blacks lines moving where his head is and that's him cleaning the glass.
Here's one of them in my tank.
When they move away from you they kind of remind me of a sidewinder snake or something. They move different than your ordinary BW and do not get much bigger than in my pic. Every now and then I'll see a bigger one, but they are most that side. I like them.... they are fun to watch. Some have stripes.
