worms???

i m looking at the tank and in the sand bed through the glass i can see a worm in the sand.. i m pretty sure it is a worm because it looks just like one... should i take it out or what??? thanks

the majority of the worms are benificial as they help ariate the upper layers of your sand bed and they are also detrivours, but i cannot tell you for sure without a pic or some info on what it looks like
