Worried about my serpent star

Hello, I have a 24G Nanocube, established now for a little over a year. It has many very cool creatures such as all types of hermits(even a purple one!),pair of clown fish, Dotty(my dottyback)two pygmy gobies(very cool&small),brittle star(not the green one)a few lettuces, snails(Nassarius&turbo, even orange turbos!)but my question is about my serpent star...he is a grey, fancy banded serpent star. Normally he "runs"out when I feed the tank...I mean crazy run. But lately he won't eat...anything. He won't come out to play, nothing. So, I tracked him down and put him in the refugium(in tank)to try and feed him...still nothing. Any thoughts?

I'm no expert but you may want to check your water quality. Also you might be over feeding it. Thats probably why its not eating.

I just checked water as I do every Sunday and it's right where it should be. I checked for everything including copper and magnesium. I don't think he is overfed, his body is very thin, almost sunken in...usually he's puffer and more mobile. He hasn't come out "to play" in weeks...Will keep trying! Thanks~
