Would a clown attack a coral near anenome?

I moved a gregorian reasonably close to an LTA and the clown seems to dart out and bite it. Since I have not known clowns to pick on corals, is it doing it at the bidding of his host?

yes clowns will at time attack or remove objects closed to their anemones.
