First of all welcome to the board. We need more info than you wanting to add a sturgeon fish to your tank. How big is the tank? What type of fish are already in the tank?

There are VERY strict restrictions in size limits, and possetion of sturgeon fish.So I'm pretty sure it would be illeagal to even have one.And as far as I know. They are a freshwater fish.I doubt if they will survive in a marine tank...

from what i know about sturgeon, they can get quite large to. i used to live in california and the ones that people would catch were extremely large, larger than any normal tank.

there are some species of sturgeon such as the sterlet and the shovlenose which can be kept in tanks, but they get to be around 48". they also need very cold water, lots of oxygen and current, and they cost a ton with the permits you have to get and then the fish it self. bo
