I'm setting up a 120 soon (4'x2'x2') with a 40 gallon sump beneath. For lighting I'm either going to get the Coralife Aquapro hood with 2 DE MH (150watt) or (250watt).....both have 2-96 watt PC actinics and moon lights. We run the house at 74 degrees in the summer time......would I need a chiller with either of these lighting fixtures?
Thanks,

Probably, What size pump? any powerheads?what size protein smimmer? They all add heat to your tank.Set up the tank and run the lights. at the end of your light cycle if the temperature is above 82 degree you will need a chiller. There are no short cuts in this hobby. No way around spending money.

You might be able to get by with a small clip on fan...
I have the dual 150's and the 2 96watt pcs over a 55 and thats all i use to keep the water cool.
Just make sure you dont cover the top of the tank with glass, so you get good evaporation.

Thanks for the replies.......I've got a clip on fan that I can put on the sump.....not going to use glass tops. Will be using an aqua medic turbofloater for skimmer and a magdrive 12 pump. Plan on two powerheads if needed......
Thanks,
