would pc lighting be okay for a rbta

okay but my rbta didnt open much with mhs it was under a rock a lot now when i put it under pcs it comes out and opens up more.

i said in another thread that my mh burned out and are useing my back up.wattage on the mhs were a 175 wat.for now im looking to buy new lights for the mhs or buy a ho t5. because the halides kept dehydrating my water.

id put it on a rock low if it were under mh and try moving the rock up if you can to see how much light it wants

now my rbta fine where it is now. i dont want to move it cause i might accidently kill it and dont want that to happen i just let it move by itself

That is a good idea not to move it... It is comming out now because of the lack of lighting. If you believe that the MH were a bit much for them, go with t5's ... they will be enough for them.... granted you get enough wattage for you tank size.

its because the pcs are backup lights. and dont have much money now.i get enough i might buy the t5s.

later if i have the time i might put it in the 125 with 3 175 wat mhs and 2 96 wat pcs. also my dad had the huge rbta in this tank with the same lights so maybe it might be better.

so right now the rbta is in the 125 gal. maybe when when i get $$$$ i will buy leds. cause they use less energy are kinda cheap at lfs 12 in are 200, 18 is 300.
