i said in another thread that my mh burned out and are useing my back up.wattage on the mhs were a 175 wat.for now im looking to buy new lights for the mhs or buy a ho t5. because the halides kept dehydrating my water.
That is a good idea not to move it... It is comming out now because of the lack of lighting. If you believe that the MH were a bit much for them, go with t5's ... they will be enough for them.... granted you get enough wattage for you tank size.

its because the pcs are backup lights. and dont have much money now.i get enough i might buy the t5s.
Understood, but those WILL NOT keep that RBTA alive/healthy for long..... so hopefully its not very long at all till you can come up with something better.
later if i have the time i might put it in the 125 with 3 175 wat mhs and 2 96 wat pcs. also my dad had the huge rbta in this tank with the same lights so maybe it might be better.

Probably a good idea for the time being.... Especially if you do not know how long till you will have proper lighting again.
so right now the rbta is in the 125 gal. maybe when when i get $$$$ i will buy leds. cause they use less energy are kinda cheap at lfs 12 in are 200, 18 is 300.
