Would this be a good set up for my 37g?

1 valentini puffer, 2 false percs and some inverts. Would that be too much or could I put more than that in my tank? I also want to put some kind of shrimp(coral banded?),crab, and/or starfish in my tank. Which kinds would be good for it? Are there any other kinds of fish you would recommend for my tank?

Well, the puffer is still a puffer and will eat your inverts, so that wouldnt work. I think that the clowns would work, and instead of the puffer, you might want to consider getting a 6 line wrasse. They're really neat fish, and dont get very big. Clowns don't need anemomes to breed, but if you have strong enough lighting, and the water conditions are really good, it might be possible to put a bubble tip anemome, but if you put one in and it does die, give up on anemomes. That's a pretty commom problem, people put anemomes and they die, so they get another one and it dies and so on. So if one doesn't make it, then forget about anemomes.

Well, if you dont have the puffer in, then I do see it working. Even though the valitini probally wont eat it, it will more than likely attack it and possibly kill it. But a sea star (star fish) would probally surive with a 6 line wrasse. I think, im not 100% sure, but I think that's the case.

I actually have a 37 that im currently in the stocking proccess of. Here is what I have done. I have 50 pounds of live rock. Then, after the cycle I bought a pollyps and a 2.5 inch flame angel. The angel looked sick and dole for a few days but then livened up. Yesterday I added 2 false percs who have REALLY livened up the angel who now swims all threw the tank.I'll aslo be adding a purple tang in a few weeks. The KEY is moderation. Add in spurts and everything will go great. GOOD LUCK!
