IMO i would of course love to if i did have the time. its fun just watching your little fish swimming around, hiding, and playing around with the other tank mates. its also fun watching them eat.

I guess in a way I do, I have my own tanks, and I run a small maintenance business on the side, nothing like spending other peoples money on the hobby you love and getting paid for it. It is not without its headaches though.

I have always dreamed about working in a place like the Shedd aquarium in Chicago, or owning my own business. The only problem is that in my little town I think we already have too many options for fish stores.

I prefer to keep it a hobby simply because my experience is I would become supersaturated with it and lose interest quickly. Kinda like working at disneyland, if you don't work their you get to see all the magic, once working there it would lose a bit of the glamour. Besides the fact of having to deal w/ppl that neglect their tanks. Na I will keep my real job I enjoy medical research too much.

I agree. The owner of the LFS I go to no longer keeps a tank at home for himself.......he says he doesn't have the time since he is caring for the store and other people's fish half the time.

i also like to look at the fish at the zoo they are soo big its not evan funny i want to get a tank like that big 1,000,000,000 gallons jk but that would be cool

thats what I'm saying there is soooooooooooo much to pick that you could never get bord
I mean ya everyone likes different stuff but spending alot of your time on fish I think is fun. It does get boring after you have been thinking about fish all day you need a brake but other than that I would love to spend my time with fish thats just my opinion. How cool would it be to be able to go to work and play with fish all day!!! with new shipments and new problems to solve it never gets boring

also you bring back lots of cool tips and ideas

and maby take home a few free fish.
