I forgot the brand of my heater, and there's currently a snail hanging on it where the print is.
You probably don't need more than 50 watt, though. Try not to skimp on it. A cheap heater will probably give you what you paid for sooner or later.

ebo jager make good heaters and are submersible . . . as for the ph for only 25 gph . . . get a straw and start blowin'!!

ok ok . . . .the minijet is a great little pump but will be more than you need I think . . . look into a small power filter. It cant hurt to have more filtration plus it will increase water volume a little and give you the current you are looking for.

As for the heater I have had good luck with my 25 visitherm. The 25 watt is hard to find though. As for the powerhead I say go with the mini jet 404 of the micro jet both have adjustable flow rates and what not....

thanks for the replys, i may wait a while on the ph b/c i don't need it right away so it will give me time to do more reading on them. The heater, i will also look for during this week and the weekend thanks again for the brands and what not.

-i have a 25w heater that can't be submersed and if it fits could i put it in the empty space (where carbon was) in my wet dry filter (nanocube), i saw that in another post some one put one in an hob something or other
-then when i put the carbon in could I put it on top of one of the other medias or no
-its plastic would the heat damage it
