I thought at one time someone on here had pods for sale. I would like to seed my tank to get them up and running faster. I have a 55g with a 25g fuge. I'm looking for something like a 20 oz bottle. Just PM me, thanks

Your best bet is to buy come chaeto. If its coming from an established tank it will be loaded with pods.

I would buy from here but I don't want to spend 100 dollars just for some pods.(79$ min. + 20$ handeling and packaging)

They both thrive in my fuges. If you let them get out of hand, one of them might take over the other. My 2 cents.

I bought some from this website. I could only see a handfull swimming in there, and I really don't think it's worth it unless you think your LR has NO pods. My tank has been set up for 3 months and as of last week it was literally crawling with pods. How old is your tank? If it's younger than 5-6 months, just give it some time.

It has been up for two and a half months, but the fuge has only been up for two weeks. The fuge has about ten pounds of agronite and 5 pounds of live rock rubble. I did see some pods about a month ago but I haven't seen any since. I have 3 cups of grape culerpa algae in the fuge and It came from the show tank at my LFS which has been established for a long time. I guess I will have to take my own advice and be patient.
I sure do hate waiting. I want to get a pair of mandrin dragonettes but, I think waiting 10 more months will probably kill me

I know, it stinks. I bet you're going to have a population bump within a couple of months, although i am told that this does not mean you're ready for a mandarin. Supposedly the population has to stabilize. I don't know. I have a 55 gallon but no sump, 70 lbs of LR, and it seems like an incredible number of pods, though in another thread people are telling me a mandarin is doomed if i get it now. It's frustrating. Anyway, I'd wait on buying pods, you've surely got a little population burgeoning in the LR. Good luck!

Yeah, I know I have to wait because I would hate to starve them, they are so beautiful. I think my fuge will really help, given enough time. I have a 55g and about 60 lbs of live rock, but I'm thinking of getting 20 lbs more. I'm thinking of lighting some candles and putting on some soft music to set the mood
Mabey it will help them to "get it on".

where at? I also live in texas and have a huge amount of pods. I have a 200g with a 90g sump. I probably kill 2 or 3 hundred whenever I change my filter pads ( once a week). Email me at clintj@gt.rr.com
