wuts best method for adding new BTA?

a friend of mine is going to be getting a new BTA for is maroon clown. wut is the best method wen introducing them to a new tank. meaning cut the powerheads off and just let it settle, not really sure. i do know that they usually dont stay were u try to put them. so im guessing it will float around until it finds somewhere. any suggestions are greatly wanted.....thanx

sad cause this is in the rite section, and im getting no response. but if i was to post this in another section, i would def get a response....ill give it some time.but damn 9 hours and nothing

I have heard that depending on time in transit to just temp acclimate and let go. Obviously BTAs will find a spot they like so i would think just let them go. Just my .02

I put mine out front in a great location which IT thought was stupid so it hid in my rockwork for several days, finally emerging on the side, but at least it's still mostly visible and isn't harming any corals.
Just make sure your PH intakes are covered while it's in this moving period. (I have koralias but i've heard horror stories of maxi-jets and the like slicing and dicing)

i also have koralia's, and have screens on my drain intakes to the sump
