Ive picked up asmall pulsating xenia,base abot as small as the end of a pinky finger,for free.kind of my first test coral.Tank is 6 weeks old and it seems to be triving.?if I can keep this aline for a few weeks do you think im ready for some zoos or something else that seems to be easy for a newbe.

what is your tank setup? Lighting? Skimmer? Powerheads? Filters?
Generally, though, 6 weeks is not long enough. The tank needs to mature longer. I just added a Xenia, Favia and a Frogspawn after 5 months

Its a 24 gl.nanocube w/2 36 watts lamps ,290 gph,24 pounds live rock ,cured and about another 4pounds of lr in the filter area along with as small bag of carbon temorarily.

xenias are sensitive to carbon filtration... try adding some lugols iodine.. they love it
