Xenia Fragging Question!

I have too much Xenia: Now I want to harvest it and give some away and sell some to my L.F.S. I have tons on my glass and i want to put it on litle stones, I heard super glue? but that doesnt make sense to me putting chemicals on something wet and squishy and will it stick and will it be toxic? I mean when people harvest their xenia, they just give it too people or the LFS as un rooted squishy stalks? and then what let them worry about it? Thanx

I have used the toothpick and rubber band method, and the sewing needle with fishing line method. Rambomessiah told me how to do the sewing needle and fishing line method, and it works the best, IMO.
I will post a paint drawing to show you a pic.

I would ask the LFS how they want it. I have one that buys it, but wants it on LR rubble. I personally like the net/rubberband method. I've had stalks attach in 6 hours using this method.

I had 10 lb. test fishing line and it JUST made it through the needle's eye. The fishing line in the drawing is way exaggerated in thickness so you can see it better; you just need a short piece. This config. allows for easy adjustment of the tension you put holding the frag to the rock. The red rubber band holds the monofilament line against the rock.
The toothpick method had two drawbacks that Rambomessiah and I agreed on: The wooden toothpick put too big a hole in the xenia and had a rough surface to boot, and the tension was very hard to adjust and relied too much on the size of the rubber bands used.

Thanks for the time and effort and for the nice illustration, I like that idea, after some time im guessing you cut away the fishing line? Im wondering if compromising the skin of the XENIA it will die? I guest you are looking for a squarish rock or rough edge rock to prevent rubber band slippage? regards

Another option is just placing it in a small container with sand on the bottom. It will eventually attach to the sand making it easier to glue.

Just place in container with a rock that always work for me it only takes about 2 days for it to attach itself.
