xenia help

My xenia has been not spreading and some appear to be dieing off any suggestions that may help it come back around.Tanks specs 150 gal ph 8.3 ammonia 0 nitrite 0 nitrate 10 salinity .024. Is there an additive or food source other then Phytoplanton that may help?

Also, you should get your nitrates down to zero. Corals tend to not tolerate anything but perfect water.
Are you sure they are dying or are they just shriveled up? Xenia will do odd things if the current is too strong or they are in the process of splitting. See if the "foot" seems like it is stretching to another portion of the rock and the "stalk" is splitting.
ps- please elaborate on "seems to be dying"

I have heard that xenia like a tank to be a little "dirty",in other words, they can tolerate a small ammout of NO3. So at 10, I dont think your nitrate is a problem, I have a frag of xenia in my tank that is in the process of splitting, and my nitrates are around 25!! (Due for a good water change I know) I would check your lighting, calcium and iodine levels...
