For the last 2 days I have been having some xenia issues. I have 4 patches of it in different areas of the tank. I have had the xenia almost a year now - always doing well. The lats 2 days it has been kind drooped and shriveled. Any ideas why or what to do? Nothing has changed. I got some frogspawn recently but its not near any of the xenia.
Tank:
25 gallon
lr/ls
150 mh with 14k
1 clown
mushrooms
zoos
frogspawn
cleaner shrimp
various crabs and snails
emerald crab
Tests
I tested silicates, magnesium, alk, and phosphates - but I forgot the exact readings, since I am at my desk at work - I know none were out of the ordinary.
1.026
81 F
0 ammonia, nitrate, nitrite
0 cooper
Calcium 420
ph 8.2
Any thoughts?

i had problems with my xenia too, i moved them to another tank that had brighter lights (t5s from pc's) better flow (but not too strong), and the temp was around 77/78. I also had some under mh's and they didn't last long in there either. Xenia will let you know right away if something is not right. try 10% water change, lowering your temp, and make sure they have good water circulation they will bounce back quickly if you can find out what the problem is.

Well the thing is they have been there a year ... in the same conditions. Thats why I am confused and not sure what to try because they were happy.

I noticed something today. One of the stalks had like a hole in it. Could the emerald crab cause a hole or what else could cause hole in the stalk? Thanks.
