xenia question

Hi! I have 75 gal. tank, I just bought Xenia and brought it home. It is acting strange. It is not pulsing, and pulsing thingies (the tips of the tenticals) are shrinking and dissolving and then the whole tenticals becomes very tiny, but the branch itself looks healthy. I do not think that is a part of acclimatization proccess. Any ideas? Is it dying like this? But why? My water is great. I just had it tested at LFS before buying Xenia, they said my water was perfect. I have had it since Saturday.
Thank you.

I guess you don't have halides then.
How long have you had it?
What kind of lights do you have?
How long did you acclimate the xenia?
What are your water parameters?

I have had my tank over an year now, and xenia less then a week. My tank 75 gal. I have two 110 VHO white light bulbs and two 72 VHO blue, my water is good (as I was told, I don't like to do tests myself I take my water to LFS, it is around the corner

You will want to remember what type of lighting they had in your lfs & where they were placed in the tank there. Try to copy that in your tank and the same thing for flow. If nothing else I have had zenia do that before where the whole colony melts away to a bare rock then after a few weeks grows back 10 times bigger! Good luck.
