Picked up some cured LR today to add to the fuge. Looked in about an hour after putting rock in and saw a brown tentacle sticking out. 99.9 percent sure its a small brittle star.
Was wondering what the odds of his survival was seeing he had no acclimation time what so ever and most likely the LFS tanks SG was much lower than mine at 1.025.
Was also wondering how badly his decomposing body could effect my tanks water chemistry if he does crawl back into the rock and dies. There is about 120 gallons of water volume between sump fuge and main tank and main tank is pretty lightly stocked.
