Yay or Nay on this.....

I am thinking about adding a copperband butterfly fish in my tank however, I have a yellow tang already. I understand that if you add a fish that looks similar in shape with another fish they will fight. Has anyone done this?

I had a Copperband with a Yellow Tang once and they fought all the time. I wouldn't do it again...

It's touch and go in cases like this, and be aware that that touch and go action is ongoing, so just because they aren't fighting at the end of the first day, it doesn't mean you are in the clear...
I have to ask.. you are aware just how tricky copperbands can be to keep alive, right?

That's a great point... as is the difficulty in keeping copperbands. If you do decide to get a copperband make sure it's eating good before bringing it home.
