yellow corol losing color

I have a hard yellow corol. Its turning white in some areas. When that happens is the coral dieing? All the test levels are good calicum is 450 please help

well if your talking about an SPS coral then yes the white is the skeleton.
what kind of lighting do you have?? what are some other specifics of your tank such as flow in the tank and near by tank mates??

What's a sps coral I forget the name of this coral but its flat hard and yellow, the underside of the coral has bumps. I've had it for 5 months, I have 2 maxi jet 1200 wet dry filter, just 1 175 watt mh, about 5 anomies which I'm getting rid of tonight (I also did not see any amonies sting it) the wite started off slow but now its growing quite quickly is there anything I can do to stop it from dieing? Thanks alot
