Yellow Cucumber

Hi, Just have a simple question, is it a bad thing when your Yellow Cucumber decides to split in half? The "front" half seems to be doing fine, the arms still come out for feeding and it moves. The back half is just sitting there, no color change or nothing. Anybody else out there had this happen to them?

I had one of these. I never saw it split in half but one day I saw him and he was tiny. I think he died because my cleaner shrimp were picking at him.

Cucumbers are known to split when multiplying.
If this is what happened, then congratulations, you're a parent.
You now have 2 cukes.

i have never heard of cukes splitting, in fact many of their reproductive behaviors are still unknown, however, i wouldnt put it past them as they are related to starfish, and we all know that many stars can regenerate from a lost arm, and many time the lost arm itself develops into a comet, so i do believe that it is possible, anyhow, congrats!
