Try posting this in the "reef" section.
I would say no, some people say the Pepermint may eat polyps but I have not had a problem.

I have some y. polyps and so far the worst attack was by amphipods. I don't think hermits would be to blame but I wouldn't put anything past a shrimp after I saw the way a peppermint behaved, but maybe camelbacks are different, never had one.

how did you catch him without taking apart the tank, I tried luring him with a piece of fish into a net but that didn't work, next i might get a tank divider and seperate him from everywhere else and take my huma from my aggressive tank and put him in until the camel back is gone,

well thats what i ended up doing i got soo mad one day i tore the tank apart and got him. Gave me a chance to do some new aquascaping anyway that looks alot better now. I tried everything before that though. The shrimp traps luring him in with a piece of raw shrimp.
What i did is when i did my water change i took that water ad put it in a bucket and put my rocks in there taking out about half of them making the tank wide open and leavin him nowhere to go. It worked i just wish i did that earlier and avoided all the aggrivation.
