Yellow Tang Eating Coral

I just got some little button polps. It looks like my Yellow Tang thinks they are good lunch. At first I thought he might be going for the algae but he is knocking off the polps. I can't see any algae on the rock. Anyone else have problems with a yellow tang. I think my tang is actually a zebrasoma flavescens. It is yellow with a tiny white dash at the base of his fin. I thought they were herbivores. I feed him well.

i personally believe there is an exception to every rule,i had a purple an a yellow in my reef an i had to take them out ,they started to pick on my brains,so badly that they would stop opening, because of the harassment they got from the fish they lost colour,so it was either tangs or brains.
