Yellow Tang has Ick

My Yellow tang has Ick. I have moved him to a medicine tank. My question is can I put a cleaner shrimp in with him to help cure him. Will the cleaner shrimp develop ick.

what do you mean by medicine tank? The shrimp can't get ich, but cooper and other medicines might kill the shrimp, hpyo will kill the shrimp...
Read whatever you are adding to see if it is invert safe...
