I have a yellow tang in Q for 2 weeks and it developed what I would call a burn or scrape on it's right side about the size of a quarter behind it's eye. (HLLE?) There are no spots anywhere. It would try to flick it's body on the bottom of the tank periodically.
I took the heater out of the 10g Q tank because I thought it might be a burn and have been soaking it's food with 2 drops Vit C and 2 drops Zoe daily. (Should I add garlic to this mix?) The fish has always eaten well and grazes on seaweed daily. He appears to be getting a little better and I have had him for 3 weeks now. My question is does anyone have any idea what he has and I am doing the correct things. I also lowered the salinty from 1.024 to 1.014 over a week, should I take it down to 1.009 or is that necessary?
